Day 12 Camino Recorder

Holy smokes!  I drove 110 miles round trip for a 3.4 mile walk.  However, I think it was the neatest hike so far.  The Miesville Ravine Park is truly in the back country and a trek to get to.  Unlike yesterday (read post) I was prepared with the proper clothing, shoes, insect repellent, sunscreen, food, and drink.  You name it, I had it.  This hidden treasure of a hike was nothing less than an enchanted forest.  I scared up three more turkeys, a whitetail deer, two woodchucks, a cotton-tail rabbit, and stopped to visit for a few minutes with a raccoon.  I will go back with my fishing pole, tent, John and niece and nephews.  Sometimes you have to go out of your way to find something or someone special.

This day in honor of Dominic (12); Clara (10); Sean (9); and Michael (7).
