Day 7 Camino Recorder

This morning I woke up and really did not feel like walking today.  It was cool with gray skies, with a slight chance of more rain.  After walking 14 miles yesterday, I was sore and beginning to feel the makings of a few blisters.  Then, I jammed my foot and was limping around my condo.  Needless to say, it was all manageable but still enough for me to want to skip a day.  Am I ever glad I chose to press on.  I only had a 4.4 mile hike today out near Taylors Falls and it was breathtaking.  I took my time and enjoyed the trails and the historical significance of this amazing park.  I definitely will go back and check out Eagle’s Peak, since I was not able to on this trip.  I made a decision to start camping and on the way home, stopped at REI.  I picked out a great tent for two and am already beginning to plan another adventure.
